The Mingus Gem and Mineral Club is Cottonwood Arizona's original Rock and Mineral Club, founded in 1979. We host the bi-annual Gem and Mineral show in historic Clarkdale Arizona, sharing a love for rocks, minerals, gemstones, lapidary and geology. The club holds monthly meetings that offer guest speakers sharing their expertise on various topics from paleontology, rock hunting, identification of rocks and minerals and much more. We also sponsor field trips throughout the year to many destinations around the state.
